In the context of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Regulation, the call for proposals MOVE/B4-2017-63 was launched for a Programme Support Action (PSA) for the implementation of data exchange used for digital maps for Union-wide multimodal travel and real-time traffic information services on the TEN-T network. Hungarian Public Road Nonprofit Pte Ltd Co.joined a consortium led by the company ERTICO, consisting of 15 member countries and 19 cooperating partners, requesting for grant for the exchange of digital (static and quasi static) data. The four-year long cooperation project was launched in January of 2018.
The total eligible cost of the project amounts to 139 625 EUR, the aid intensity is 80%, thus the amount of the grant is 119 875 EUR. Following the signature of the grant agreement, a kick-off meeting was held in Brussels on 29-30, January of 2018. Mapping of necessary IT developments and preparatory works have been carried out in 2018. Our colleagues attended the meeting of the working group No 2 (TN-ITS service development) in Cyprus, which was followed by an additional consultation in Budapest on 24, October of 2018. The Hungarian TN-ITS interface will be created simultaneously with the establishment of the National Access Point. The workshop was attended by 12 experts (including staff members of TomTom and Here) and focused on the technical support for the creation of Hungarian Public Roads’ pilot interface. The project will be completed on 31 December 2022.
