With the kick-off meeting held in Madrid on 13.12.2018, the HiDALGO project (called upon by INFRAEDI 2018-2020 which is financed by the Horizon 2020 programme) has been officially launched. The HiDALGO (HPC and Big Data Technologies for Global Systems) project mainly belongs to development projects related to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and its main target is the analyses of “Big Data” using supercomputers. The cooperation coordinated by the University of Stuttgart involves German, Austrian, Greek, British and Hungarian research institutions, with a budget of 7 000 000 EUR.
